what else is good for the regeneration of joints?

It is very good for the regeneration of cartilage and lubrication of joints. I have been using a high quality patented version of it for many months and my arthritis and back pain are no more. Studies show regeneration but it takes time, you usually do not see actual regeneration for around a year but it stops the pain and further deterioration right away if it is a good supplement. The supplement needs to contain glucosamine HC1 this is the form your body can use. This form of it is a natural amino sugar that maintains cartilage's slippery texture.

The Arthritis Cure - Jason Theodosakis - examines glucosamine and other alternatives in depth. See also: Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine - Murray & Pizzorno - and Prescription for Natural Cures - Balch & Stengler - for a good discussion of Osteoarthritis and recommendations on how to deal with it.
I recommend books because they cover the whole subject and give good directions. It is a subject too large to cover with short easy answers.

I started taking glucosamiene 5 years ago, after a woman in her 80' s was swimming a mile a week, she told me about what kept her going so strong and feeling good. I was having alot of trouble with my legs, walked with a limp, from a car wreck. Now am doing great. so for me it worked miricles.

I am not sure if you can assimilate that chemical by ingesting it since the enzymes and HCL in the stomach may destroy it. I think it is needed to regenerate but I think it is something that has to be received other than by oral means.
