Gay pride, political correctness says ok. But if that is ok why not Heterosexual pride day, mens day, womens day, kids day, marriage day, gum chewers day, when will it stop? What makes gay's so special.........? Enough of the political correctness crap. Every time I see a gay pride parade I think less and less of persons that participates (politicians included).

First of all it's not Gay "Pride" Day, it's Gay "Rub It In your Face I'm a F^g" Day. Once we understand exactly what it is, then we can better make determinations as to the the dispostion of the event. But you are right. How about a Dog Pooper Scooper Day, or an I Ran a Red Light Day, or even better yet, how about a Day After Yesterday Day, which just happens to be today, and the overload caused by trying to compute this would be worse than Y2K ever imagined.

There are only two days we need:

Groundhog Day and Pay Day, and I could do without Groundhog Day, which leaves me with Pay Day, which should be every day.

Gay pride day should just be a day for Gays. I am not gay but if the gay population can feel better about themselves, then I say why not. I don't let the small things in life bother me....

Because this is a society that permits a minority (homosexuals) to celebrate their difference from the majority (heterosexuals). That to me is the real reason for the numerous pride parades, not the celebration of homosexuality, but of our culture's tolerance for diversity. That is the real celebration.

Gay Pride brings millions of dollars (or pounds or euros etc) into a country! Why would you want to undermind it by having Hetro pride, blonde pride, short fat chic pride etc etc..........its a fantastic day and its an excellent way to allow gays and lesbians to show that they have pride and will not be left to feel inadequate by the many closed minded w*nkers of the world!

Gay pride day is not a PC thing, it's a response to society deeming homosexuality wrong. They are saying I don't care what you think, I'm proud of who I am.

i'm getting what you're asserting, like how can homophobic human beings study to settle for us if we start up shoving our sexuality of their faces? yet i think of it is reason satisfaction is approximately with the flexibility to do regardless of we experience like doing, it is why you notice a lot of drag queens and public nudists and the rest. it is likewise approximately with the flexibility to precise who we are with out being hated on for a minimum of at some point a twelve months. besides the fact that there are some sturdy floats in the parade, including ones approximately gay marriage projects and kinfolk satisfaction, and youthful human beings satisfaction.

Good for you.
Why bother to make manifestations for anything at all?like before, they did for democracy, and against racism, and for the rights of women.
Why bother, right?
This world is perfect. Everyone gets what they deserve, and in equal terms, correct?
And if u don't bother, why even talking about it?
it upsets u?
if it does, same goes for your opinion-question. I think less and less of people who express themselves pretending they have some sort of legitimacy to speak about things that they try to avoid or get involved into.

I attended a gum chewers parade once. It sucked...I had Hubba Bubba stuck all over the bottom of my chucks. They'll never get another dollar out of me!
