We play a game at work during football season and I like to play even though Im not really sure what teams are good and which are not so good. Anyways, the game is pretty much picking the team from each game that you think will win and for each one you get right you get a point. The person with the most points at the end of the season gets taken out to lunch at the resturant of their choice. Last season I was in last place and I don't want that to happen again so please football fans, help me.

This week doesn't have very many good match-ups so you really can't go wrong with this list here...The Miami v Pittsburgh, Indy vs NY Giants, and Chicago vs Green Bay could really go either way. No anyone may laugh at Green Bay right now, but I think that with that rivalry anything can happen...although it is likely Chicago still. A lot of people will pick Pittsburgh for the fact that they "won" the Super Bowl...well Roethlisberger isn't playing and Miami is pretty stacked right now...Miami definately appears to be a favorite for a playoff spot this season...kind of weird to say actually, but it's true, I think Miami is going to smack Pittsburgh around like no tomorrow. And the "Manning Bowl" that's going to be a high scoring game and really, whoever has the most turnovers is going to win that game, but go with experience and pick Peyton and the Colts.

A girl in my office a few years back used to pick teams based on whose mascot could, in real life, beat the hell out of the other mascot. For example, she'd pick the Eagles over the Cardinals because, well, in real life an eagle would shred a cardinal. Etc.
Her tie-breakers were which city she would most like to visit, and then team colors.
I kid you not, she came in third that year out of about 20 people.

I've seen people guess randomly and beat people who claim to be sports experts. Artie on Howard Stern was beaten by a chicken. Also if there's no spread, then you can also just go with who is favored.
