Why is it that the girls that are popular in school and seem to have it all are the most threatened and talk the most trash about other females - esp. females outside their click? Why do they talk sh*t and don't make an effort to get to know the girls?

This question was poses because a friend of mine from another school used to get picked on from the popular girls. She is not unpopular, just not with the cheerleader type of click. She is friends with most groups. And honestly, she is more attractive than most of the cheerleaders. Maybe that's why they are threatened.

popular girls are insecure because they often don't believe deep down that people love them for who they are - more for what they look like, or because of their 'power' etc. when i was at school i wanted to be popular, and i finally made it - but in order to do so i surpressed a lot of the things that were unique about me. i don't think that i was ever bitchy, but it was so important to me to be thought of the right way by the right people.
popularity is very superficial, and as such, many of the people who are seeking it are concerned with exteriors, not interiors, if that makes sense.

Why should they? They are the popular girls! I was the second most popular girl and I can tell you from experience, why give a "thought" about anyone else.
BTW - you sound jealous.

because they think it's funny, they don't care what other people (other people I mean by who the school thinks are losers) think so they get a sick joy out of picking on em. and they talk trash if one girl does one little bad thing to them. like accidently tripping no them, etc.

because they are scared. that is all and they want to feel better by making anyone they see feel scared. just don't let anything get to you at all.
