No - he is not a politician. Instead, he is a conservative political analyst and commentator who, as he says, "is on loan from God." A lot of people listen to him and he influences many people. He has repeatedly said, he does not wish to be in politics (elected to an office) - and why should he even think about it - He makes over $52 million a year. He would take a huge pay cut if he ran for office. He has the best of both worlds.

no he is an entertainer, he does a talk show where he tries to make everyone mad ( even people who suport him) at least once each week. So you will stay tooned to see what he will come up with next.
he is a business person and a author.
And he was born and raised in heaven on earth ( wonderful Cape Girardeau) if you visit you can even get material and go on the "Rush" tour of historicial places like where he first worked and more.
