How do I change a file from .wps?

When I open the file, it was saved in mic works 4.0. I am opening it with 4.5 and getting a bunch of crazy characters.... PLEASE HELP ME!!!

First, print the page. Even though it has "crazy characters," just trust me: print it. Then, hold the paper as close to your face as you can while still seeing the characters on the page. Lick the page three times. Roll up very tightly, and stick it up your a$s. That really should work.

Go to the file you want to save > click ,save as > then click on the type file in the drop-down Or, type in the file type..csf ,pdf .etc
