"Were it not for this program, our intelligence community believes that al-Qaida and its allies would have succeeded in launching another attack against the American homeland."-Bush
This sounds like a big "I know something you don't know, don't believe what you see, believe what I tell ya" speech to me. Does anyone else see any simularities between our government and that movie?

The movie was actually made to draw parallels between the Margaret Thatcher era in England but has similarities to any political system. (And actually Sutler was ages smarter than old G. Bush!).

Actually I think Adam Sutler reminds me more of Dick Cheney. But I agree that it is easy to imagine the Bush administration as the villains in V for Vendetta.

have you ever considered the fact that there is a very good reason you are in no poition to influence the rest of the world in any way? WHy do you think that is? I can tell you. It's because you aren't good enough. You aren't someone who should be listsned to or asked for advice. Everyone has an opinion. The problem is that everyone thiks their opinions are of equal vaule. Thats absurd. The sooner you realize that the sooner you'll shut your mouth. That movie was made by people who wanted to draw parallels between the movies and the current administration. That's why you think it sounds similiar. But it sounding similiar does not mean it is the same. The sad thing is, you will never get this through your head. The good thing is, you will never be of any consequence to the rest of the world.
