Cool avatar.

You don't trust white people.
You have some kind of persecution complex.
Remedy: Find a black Psychiatrist or Psychologist and get help. Not being sarcastic here--serious.

Although I don't doubt there are some white racist doctors, as well as black racist doctors, I think the situation of saving white over black life is a hypothetical you are getting all worked up over.

As far as trust, I try to be an informed patient. I pay a doctor for advice and work. As a customer and the warm body, I like to be in on the decisions as much as possible.

Must everything be an issue about race? Where on Earth was it studied and verified as FACT that white male doctors are prone to saving the life of a white man as opposed to the life of a black man? Stop being ridiculous. Doctors are people...there are good and bad ones. Find a doctor you feel comfortable trusting and stop smearing the reputations of white male doctors who are dedicated to saving lives, no matter what the color of the person.

Yes, I trust that my doctor is giving me the best advice he can. My father was a doctor, my brother & sister are doctors & I got to meet many older white male doctors, not one of whom would make a decision of whose life to save based on race or social status. Any doctor (of any age, gender or color) who would do that doesn't deserve to be a doctor, and I don't think there are very many doctors like that at all despite your claim that it's a fact .

When I go to a doctor I trust his judgment, I don't look at his skin color. Actually, I have been very well treated by a black doctor once and I would expect a white doctor to give the same treatment to a black man. doctors tend to be intelligent people, and usually intelligent people don't waste their time with dumb racist prejudice.

Here's an idea. There are plenty of programs to help young black students make it to college and hopefully some of those become doctors. They are often underfunded and understaffed. How about using some of your time and resources on these programs rather than ranting on yahoo. Not trying to be mean about it, but posts like this aren't helping the problem.

No, I always read and try to understand more. There is just too much out there for one person to know it all. I all there to help and question.

BTW- that is a racist question, I have white doctors, female doctors and black doctors, I am happy with them all, but I still read and learn.

actually, i don't always believe what a doctor tells me
Thank god, my mother is a nurse
sometimes doctors wrongly diagnose you?
just try to be aware of your doctor and maybe read about why you're going to the doctor for
For instance, if you think you have cancer
read about it & diagnose yourself a little
ask people you TRUST that are well-educated in the medical field
then go visit a doctor
does that help?

black doctors are far and few in between brother. to wait for a black doctor will mean certain death. all doctors take an oath to heal no matter who or what. i trust my Jewish doctor. he has been my doctor for 15 years. we have a great relationship. he is now my children's doctor. i don't look for color in a doctor i look for competency.

Your parranoid, it's not black vs white here, its money/insurance vs welfare, its a class issue not a race. A white person on welfare would get the same treatment as anybody else on welfare
