What are mothers for then? She is your mom and of all people in the world, she should be the first one to know about your dilemma. Besides, there's nothing that you should be embarrased about if she learns about. Tell her that and I'm sure she will accompany you to a obstetrician-gynecologist who certainly can give you information and even remedies about your problem. Menstruation should come at least once a month though for others it is normal to come twice a month or once every two months.

But in your case, it has been two years since it last came. You then must see a doctor immediately. Your delaying your action may mean your incapability in the future to have children so act now because your doctor may still have a remedy to your situation this early.

Why are you embarrassed to tell her? This is not something you should be with your Mom.
Tell her, and start by telling her why you have waited so long to tell her. If she is not a person who can be understanding, and I do not mean this in a bad light of your mom, i am just referring to some people okay?
if your mom is an alcoholic or addict of some sort, or perhaps works long hours and is tired and want s to rest when she is home. They will still want to know you have a medical problem, sugar. If you are too uncomfortable with her, how about your school counselor or the school nurse. A friends mom maybe.
You really should tell someone, it might affect your ability to have children in the future if you do not receive medical treatment now.

How old are you?

You don't need to tell your mom but you do have to go to the doctor and find out what's going on. Or do you already know? Are you anorexic? If you are, that could be the cause of your problem and if you are anorexic, they will find out sooner or later because you'll have more health problems than that, your teeth will rot, you will have gastro intestinal problems, your vital organs will fail to the point where you may even die. Get to your Doctor and be perfectly honest with him.

Don't hesitate get to the doctor immediately.

You better tell your mom so she can get you to the doctor. Obviously if you were already having a regular cycle, and it suddenly stopped, there is a problem. Only the doctor will be able to ascertain what the problem is. You must go - I'm sure the anxiety over not having one is also contributing to your continuing to not have one.......

Why don't you tell the school nurse or if you have a female health/gym teacher? They can talk to you about some of the possible reasons, and I don't think you will be uncomfortable to tell your mom after that.
