This is the one you're looking for: "Paradise Now," a 2005 movie (with actors) about suicide bombers in Palestine. Gripping... and will give you a good idea about what motivates people to blow up themselves in pursuit of their cause.

Syriana was great - I loved it - but it's more fictional and doesn't truly explain what's really happening over there.

that movie with Jake Gylenhaal in it. My fiance and I saw it in the theater. It shows the life of a soldier in the war. It doesn't show a lot of gory details like bodies being blown up or guts spilling out. It's more about the day-to-day lives of soldiers.
