No, it'll just make really bad coffee. Time vortices hate instant crap. It's time for crying out loud. You can grow the coffee beans, roast them, grind them and brew them in the microwave all in an instant to create a time vortex. You can, however post a question on yahoo answers and create a vortex of people who take stuff way to seriously.

no but if you put the coffee in with out the water or worse yet still wrapped in the foil packet. there is a chance of causing some kind of smoke vortex from the destruction of the microwave.

Instant coffee is OK for when you're in a hurry... But, only water flowing through fresh-ground coffee in a filter basket can create a vortex in time.

Yes, but only if you give the cup a quarter turn after the first minute and then microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Either that, or stir well before placing in the microwave.

Why? It's all about Brownian motion. Well, either that, or your coffee's been spiked with the subatomic equivalent of Drano.

Sure, that is why they invented the percolator to avoid this. How exactly can you create a vortex in time with coffee in the microwave? I am curious and my coffee is getting cold.

You need to put milk powder in it too for it to open.
You can't use Colombian cofee, because if you do, the vortex will suck the whole room and banish in about a second.
And you need Hungarian milk powder, if you use anywhere elses milk, Björk will come out of the microwave with an army of Evil-Squirrels.

no it will not make a vortex. first of all, some of these people on here are stupid, a lit candle will not make plasma, plasma is hyper heated matter, like in the sun. it cannot be made on earth with our technology, second, how old are you? if your below the age of 7 forgive me. if not grow up and try asking more reasonable questions.

If that were possible, then my grandmother would have a vortex in time on her kitchen counter. I have yet to see one. However that would explain a few things.

Try slicing mini carrots and then putting them on a plate, when in the microwave they will create sparks.

No.
Just coffee.
I personaly think God or whoever rules the universe doesn't want humans to be givin the gift of time travel. Too many greedy people would destroy civilizations like you could knock out Paul Revear with cloraform and we'd all be still British. :) I think too much too. LOL
