My girlfriend has recently started to drink casually and I don't know why it bothers me. We've been together for several years and I do not fear her being unfaithful, but this makes me very uncomfortable. I have talked to her and she expresses that she is just having fun. Any help is appreciated.

maybe you think that he has problems with you, or its your fault that she started drinking.
talk to her and tell her that she doesnt need alchohol to make her happy cuz she got you.：/

I take it you do not drink? From the way it sounds...she acts inappropriately when she drinks. You have to decide if you can except this without nagging etc. If you can't this may be a deal breaker.
