Way back in1962, the tram used to take 2hrs. 30min. to travel from King's Circle to Regal, while the BEST bus 40 min. So was the decline in the number of Victorias from the good old days... as is fondly remembered.

well that is complicated.......... several reasons............................

but you can say well ... they were good as long as they lasted.....
