I think your outfit sounds cute. I would forget about what some of the other individuals who've posted have said about 'No wearing white after Labor Day' as that's one of the worst rules I've heard in my entire life. It's seriously completely stupid and pointless if I do say so myself. I don't think a flat shoe would look good with gauchos as someone else suggested for you to try but that's just my personal taste. I'm sure white wedges would be okay but maybe just a nice black heeled stiletto/sandal or whatever you want to call it would be nicer.

Do not wear wedges with gouchos!!! Flat shoes, especially nice sandles look much better with those type pants. Tight capris and wedges look great together, but with a pant that has that much flare at the ends, you are going to want to keep you shoes simple. Also, yes you can wear white after labor day. That is such a myth. Dressing in head to toe white is off, but having a pair of white shoes... thats ridiculous.
