I no longer vote in national elections. Because my vote is never counted, since I don't vote for either of the two major parties. Given the congressional districting model and the electoral college as implemented, that means my vote literally is not counted.

I DO vote but for those that don't it is probably because they don't see the connection between their vote and their daily lives.

I vote because I believe in democracy and having some say in how things are run in this country.

I'm an Aussie and it's compulsory to vote here. If we don't we have to show cause and if it's note a good excuse you get fined
