Snap-on is typically a product sponsor, meaning that they provide tools either for free or at a great discount to the teams that run their stickers. A lot of times teams will incorporate tool boxes and tools from snap-on into their pit tool boxes.

They are a secondary sponsor, these sponsors are what the teams use. like for example, everyone has Sunoco as a secondary sponsor, they provide the fuel, Hendrix cars use Quaker State oil and are on the fender while DEI use Pennzoil.
