It's not necessary - but it sounds like fun

It's not necessary but if people want to then they can definitely go for it. If you don't think it looks good on your friend theyou can voice your opinion because obviously you want to be honest and you would expect the same truth from her. You just have to be careful because you don't want to offend her or piss her off because everyone is their own individual and has their own sense of style. When I was in high school my best friend went through a stage where she wore a lot of white eyeliner because she had read in a magazine that it would make her eyes look bigger. While that may be true, it just did not look right on her. We used to tell her but she didn't believe us so we stole her white eyeliner and she never went to get more she stop doing it. We didn't do it to be mean but because we cared about her. It probably was the wrong thing to do and we didn't tell her until years later. At first she was mad and then she thought back and realized that it didn't look good on her and so we were just giving her a little tough love and she knew that. I'm not saying you should do that but if she is using it too much or using it everyday then you might want to say something only because it should be an every once in the while thing since it sounds like a dramatic look. I always looked at makeup as a way to improve the way you look not to mask it. The best advice I ever got was to put make up but make it look like you aren't wearing any. You could try that with her or maybe have a girl's night where you play around with makeup and maybe she will adopt a better style and realize that less really is more.

It is absolutely necessary. j/k Why would someone want to wear heavy green glitter eyeliner? That sounds gross.

Usually people shouldn't care but, if she cares so much about her looks, maybe she's ashamed about he rnatural beauty or something...or is trying to look hot or cute or something and it's no big deal
