Read them. Loved them. They were so much better than the Sweet Valley Twins. (I read those too, but not as many, and I didn't like them as much.)
There were only a handful of BBC books out when I started reading them, so my parents got in the habit of buying me each and every one - not realizing that they would be coming out each month for YEARS afterwards. lol.
I eventually outgrew them somewhere in the #70s, I think. I had all the Super Specials up until that point too, but not the mysteries or the "Little Sister" books.
Of course, at the time, I wanted to start my very own Babysitter's Club because Kristy and the others made it sound like so much fun. But, I stopped appreciating them right around the time I started babysitting on my own. Real life didn't quite match up to expectations, I guess.

My daughter is likewise in 4th grade and loves both The Babysitter's club and the sweet Valley Twins sequence. i replaced into waiting to purchase a collection of them used from our interior sight library for fifty cents each and every and she or he will use them for AR too which replaced right into a huge bonus.

i rember the book series i only read one of the book my sister was a much biger fan of the babysitters club then i was

Me! I was a in the book club and everything. They sent me 4 books a month. I still have them too. I'm trying to get my neice (9 yrs) into them now.

I did, I loved them! And I had the board game. Oh, how much I wanted to have friends like that!
It's fun to reread as an adult sometimes. It take maybe 45 minutes to an hour, and it's very amusing!

I did and l loved them,my oldest daughter has read them,and now my youngest daughter is reading them at the moment,and she is also loving them.
