Double check what kind of programs you have downloaded. Some have adware which can create popups and give you headache. Make sure your blocker is up to date. Regards.

It definately sounds like spyware. You might go to windows task manager and look for any unusual process names. The free adaware software is great for removing those things. I also noticed with my Norton Software that it was disabled from removing certain kinds of spyware, if you are computer savvy you might check that as well.

hi, i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar.which is most powerful in popup blocking.

besides, firefox can disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

Check if you have spyware of adware. If you do, get rid of those. If you don't, maybe you should use another type of pop-up blocker.

If you are using Internet Explorer drop it and start using Firefox as your browser. FF is more secure, more stable, and fully customizable. Once you have done that browse thru my security links and one of them will help you remove what's bothering you.
