I cant grasp the concept that they tell the truth because I dont beleive it myself.Ive always been picked on and this year,its different.

i don't know how old you are,
but you might have gone through puberty if you are a teen.
and this changed your appearance a lot.
and don't be so hard on yourself!

I understand what you're saying...guys tell me I'm pretty all the time and compliment me on my eyes. I was the girl in high school that was ignored and didn't have many friends. If several different guys tell u you're pretty, then you are! You have to learn to love yourself and know your worth. Accept those compliments..these guys see a beautiful woman whose just gets prettier everyday. Besides, guys pick on the pretty girl anyway! That's their way of flirting!

maybe you are changing and you still see yourself in the mirror the way you looked before, i'm trying to see my inner beauty and get more confidnece at the moment as well, you need to stop thinking about when you used to get picked on and start beleiving the truth that you really are beautiful. and your very lucky that others can see it, a guy wouldn't be bothered saying your pretty if he didin't mean it.

It's probably because you went through puberty over summer and actually got a body. You just don't notice because you are so used to your body you don't notice changes in it.

Well you change your appearance every year. And in some guys eyes you are beautiful and they r finally noticing.

Guys think your pretty because you are just pretty. Thats what happened to me some times.

perhaps you have changed the way you are e.g perhaps you are more confident now, (guys like confident girls) or maybe its just that they think that you are vulnerable and so it makes it easy to get into your pants!
