I read on the internet about a guy who traded one for a pen and then kept trading "UP" until eventually with help and publicity he ended up with his own free house - of course his paper clip was red.

I have used a paper clip to clean things in difficult places. I take it apart and clean around the sink edges and faucet. I use it to scrape grime and dirt around the windows, in the bathroom tile, and other hard places that are difficult to reach.

I collect them and keep them in a yellow plastic easter egg. But I only collect the ones I pick up off the ground. Because buying them from a store is just cheating.

I think using it in some sort of art project. Maybe make a bust out of paperclips of someone famous for the heck of it. I have no life ha maybe that would be a project for me to work on... or a picture frame..

I like to make them float on the surface of water just because it is amusing and a bit of a challenge since they must be placed very carefully. Plus, I've lost my rubber ducky and need help making bathtime lots of fun.

As a projectile weapon. A paper clip, a sling-shot, and a good aim can cause a lot of damage.

I work with children who have behavior problems. If I straighten it out and poke them once in a while, I avoid boredom and they get in trouble, so I always have a job (you know I'm kidding, right).
