look I am from Mexico so i need to know how do you call the player who plays by the wing? like num 11 or num 7? somthing like malouda in france or ribery? in spanish we call it carrilero.....

The player on the wing is some times called the wing or the left/right players. Some examples are the left defender or the right forward. My coach says," I need my wings in the defense to mark the post ( of the goal.)"

You could call it right or left midfield....


It really depends on the formation.

Like 4-4-2

I play 4-3-3, in that case it's left, right and center midfield.

Right and left wing works too.

It depends upon the formation. As to my favourite fomation 3-5-2 we call it right/left fullback or right/left flank. Roberto Carlos, Cafu, jorgenho ... all are natural fullbacks.
