I want to hear The Christmas Song.

The Christmas Song

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you!

Silent Night or (Stille Nacht) is my all time favorite holiday song so that's high on the list of songs. But what I'm really looking forward to is hearing The Trans Siberian Orchestra again. Had 4th row seats last year and it was truly one of the best concert experiences I've ever had.

Sting's
Gabriel's Message.

It's acapella and he has an incredible voice for it. It evokes memories of my choir days and also of being in European cathedrals.

I also like Amy Grant's Heirlooms
"Up in the attic, down of my knees lifetime of boxes...letters and photographs yellowed with years some bringing laughter some bring tears." The lyrics of that song get me in the mood for the holidays.
