My opinion is that Bush is ignoring the will of the ppl and republicans are ripping the constitution to threads.

Bush quote about the constitution, "... it's just a ******* piece of paper."

If anything the government should do less like legalize some drugs ( @ 600 a second its not like we are winning on that front ), put more prisoner to work ( each inmate cost 33k a year ), end tort lawsuits ( fix high medical cost ), Get off gas , The government should of never let citizen do mortgages with interested only ( only raised house prices way to fast and we will have a housing crash ) . By the way gas is traded as a commodity just like gold , copper , etc so its traded around the world . I think we should raise the cost to get rid of trash so recycling is bigger because we only have so many natural resources . As far as war well that a real problem on Bush watch only Sept 11 happen . As far as Clinton 8 years we have Cole bombing , Yemen Embassy bombing , World Trade center the first time . So I think as long as there religion in the world we will always be @ war .

You can judge by yourself to Bush administration whether he has a good governance or bad governance.Bush administration earned money from the tax payer in the country. He raised taxes and raised gas prices so the cost of living is higher. The good governance should do everything for the prosperity of the whole people including the tax payers of the country. They should learn and listen to people voices what they are wanting and they should make a right action for bettering the situation and condition of the people. Please you calculated how many million US dollar has been used for war in Iraq and has given misery to the innocent people of other country..Have many people has been killed there ?

The entire administration+the congress+the Fed have commited treasonous acts as far back as you'd care to go. Both parties are so vile and corrupt you can't tell them apart. They work together to drain the middle and low incomes of what they have left. You don't have enough cash to make a difference anymore. You and your parents let them slowly steal pretty much all of it- and all your rights as well.

Are they listening? To them - you don't matter. They use you as cannon fodder daily in whatever foreign ditch you'd like to die in. You're fleshy toilet paper for the elite.

You don't have a right to say anything in the US unless you make more than a million $US a year. Don't think so? Ask anti-Bush protestors who get herded off-camera during media events. Moo for the camera. You're steak. You're a hunk of meat until they tell you otherwise.

What are you gonna do about?

Everytime they smirk into the camera they are punking you.

Again, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT!

So far you can talk all day while they eat you alive. They're laughing at you Hitler-style.

America's dead and dying. There's a fork in the top of your head- you're done.

Interesting...Republicans generally lower taxes. I only earn55-65k per year, but i can see the breaks. Gas prices are up not because of government, but because of the companies that change the prices based on speculations. But these gas price increases are not necessarily all bad. Notice now, because of these increases, new momentum has been discovered to find alternative fuels and methods for supplying energy. When this occurs, the gas companies will have competition, and will inevitably lower their prices. Thus is the way of our free market economy. A need has been created, all it will take is someone(s) to fullfill that need.
Tell me, if a child wants something, but that thing wanted is not in the best interest of the child, would you give in and listen to the child, or would you do the right thing for the betterment of the child. Similarly, I believe that there is a fool born every minute, and i do not think it wise to listen to the will of the people with that many fools out there. I don't want my nation to end up like France economically, a first world nation with a third world economy. I don't want our nation to be dependent on other nations, I want us to be as independent and strong as possible. Many of my friends were told by their parents when they became of age that it was time to go and be a man. I was taught to be independent and hard working.
In all likelihood, this war is still going on because of the steps one needs to take in order to be politically correct. I'm very certain that we could have sent much more to Iraq, but then we would appear to many as bullies. I hate making decisions based on how people would view me... I could care less how one sees me. But that's how politics work, i suppose, politicians are more concerned with popularity, than with doing what's right.

"Try and remember Dark_Geno... 212, the oil companies are the ones that raised gas prices, not the government. The war on terror is real and necessary (I don't want a nuke going off in my back yard). Our war is against religious madmen who will do anything to kill us.
Bush is trying his best. He's limited, he's not a great statesman; however, his jobs platform has been useful. The most unfortunate thing, in the job market, is our corporations are out-sourcing our jobs overseas. The same thing was happening when Clinton was in the whitehouse.
Although it may not mean much, don't forget to write to your Senators and Congressmen each time they do something you don't like. Keep the pressure on 'em."

Before the war in Iraq even started, there were millions of people around the country protesting and begging the president not to invade Iraq to no avail. He and the government didn't listen then and they're definitely not listening now!!! War means more money for the weapons and oil industries. Wake up America!!!!!!!!!!

sad but we do have to have taxes to help pay for public education, roads, etc. The gas prices will now (hopefully) force automakers into making more cost effective autos and at a reasonable price.
Bush is doing what he feels is best, I personally disagree with a lot of his choices but hey, that is an advantage to living in the good ole USA

No. If they were listening to the people, troops would be out of Iraq by now.
As for raised gas prices, they do have their reasons. We're running out of gas very, very quickly.
I don't know about the taxes, though.
