Jeff Goldblum.
Goldblum has played scientists in lots of movies, or least similar roles, like in The Fly, Jurassic Park, Independence Day and others.
Christopher Lloyd only played a scientist in Back to the Future, and Harold Ramis only in Ghostbusters.

Christopher Lloyd is about the best.
Jerry Lewis in the original Nutty Professor was good, and Fred MacMurray in the Flubber Movies was good as well. Mother insisted that we watched the oldies version...now I am glad she did.
