On a TV documentary, I heard a NYC firefighter say he thinks about 9/11 every day (also at 3:43 for the 343 firefighters lost and for other reasons). But, he was there. I do the same, but I didn't lose anyone close to me that day. I don't think I know someone who did. I only know three people who lived in the cities affected on that day. Is it strange for that date to occur in my mind like this?

OMG I thought I was the only one that does that.It seems like every time I go to see what time it is the clock says 9:11.At first I was really freaked out by this.I am glad i am not alone.I also did not lose anyone in the tragedy.

you basically have a comfortable spot for 9/11. you probable check out the clock one hundred cases an afternoon, yet whilst it says 9:11, you won't have the ability to help yet to concentration on that factor. I even have an identical undertaking, I bear in techniques 9/11 like it became into the day beforehand of this...aggravating stuff

Yes. But the weirdest thing for me is that I look at the clock almost every night at 9:11. I have been doing that for years...long before 2001. I always annoyed my boyfriend because every night we would be watching TV or a movie and I would say 'hey look, it's
9-1-1 !!' I still look at the clock at 9:11 but I try not to think about it anymore.

I think you should get over it because every year until you die there will be September 11, and every day 2wice a day before you die it will be 9:11 am or pm. And if you ever have to call for an emergency you will have to dial 911. Most likely on the 9th floor of any building you will pass apartment/office/space/room 911. And so on and so forth.

This is not to diminish any pain/fear/loss you might have experienced as a result of that day, but it is simply 3 numbers and you will encounter them most likely FOREVER.

Yes, I think about it everytime I see the numbers 9, 11 close together. I even think about it when I see a movie filmed in New York and the Twin Towers are shown, I get very sad , even now as I type this.

day / month / year

AND

were a full day ahead of the USA so it happened on the 12th here

I do that. All of the time. That was such a tragic day. I didn't know anyone either. The closest it hit was that the daughter of a woman at church was evactuated from the Pentagon. Everytime I think of it I say a prayer for those who lost loved ones.

Well, I can understand him associating anything close to the number 911 with that day.

But, myself, no. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I tend not to think about 9/11 too much... Just a number and a date to me..sorry.
