Boys, because that's what they are when in highschool, usually don't appreciate smart young women. Too often girls will dumb-down because of this. A lot of boys are intimidated by a smart young woman and will not approach them romantically because at that age a boy's main goal is to "bob his knob" and smart girls are less likely put out.
Don't dumb-down just to catch a boy's attention. That would be selling yourself short in so many ways. Though sometimes far and few between there are guys out there that do appreciate brains along with beauty, and that is the kind of person you deserve to be with. As you age and mature you will also find that most men appreciate a smart woman, and a man that is secure with himself will be attracted to your intellect and achievements and turned off by anything less.

yes popular guys ca like the smart girl. IF they are mature they will tell you but if not watch for signs, like you catch him looking at you when he thinks you cant see. Find a clever way to spend more time with him and see where it goes from there.

If he's nice and she's a good person, probably. But often the popular guys are jerks and you wouldn't want one of them to like you anyway.

Guys actually do not want smart girls cuz they feel intimidated by them. Whenever they're near a smart girl, they feel like they're in deep sh_t. But exceptions do exist. I know many guys who wants smart girls as girlfriends.

umm at my school it doesn't really matter. and there aren't really any people called "popular", there aren't any cliques in our school. but pretty much, some guys do like the smart girls

at my school, nobody cares what little groupie thingy ur in...get over it, its kinda stupid that sum1 wouldnt like sum1 else becuz they r poor or wutever...thats really retarted..if u like sum1, then u like sum1...no questions asked
