Well I do like to laugh with a good looking smart man. However intelligence goes such a long way with me. I know I'm not alone, so my answer is yes, there are women who absolutely adore intelligent men. You can't be an encyclopedia who just spits facts and theories. But intelligence is indeed a plus.

I work as an assistant in a welding shop I'm on the phone a lot. I can talk to some guys forever just because they are interesting, or funny. I have no idea what they look like, but it doesn't matter. You can build sparks from lots of things besides looks.

I didn't in my twenties, but in my thirties, brains seem to be IT for me! Don't know why or when the change happened, perhaps maturity, I don't know. Intelligence and achievement reflect a lot about a person...
