I have always used Secret up until now, but I'm wondering if there is something better. I live in a very hot climate and I work out every day, so I need something that really works, controls sweat (not profuse amounts, but you know, "girl sweat"), and smells nice. I also have pretty sensitive skin. Explain your answer a little bit, suggest your favorite scent if you have one, and tell me if you know where to get it!

first off, let me just say that if you use "Secret," your body odor ain't no "secret."

i highhhhllllyyy recommend either Mitchum or Degree.

they're awesome.
and because they're awesome, i look forward to applying them each day.
mitchum is SO strong, "that you could skip a day."
but don't do that.

Ok this one doesn't have any scent at all. Its called Arm and Hammer deodorant. You have to make sure that you get the one that doesn't have any scent. It works REALLY well.
Also a bit of advice.......scented deodorants smell BAD on people who sweat alot. The scent of the deodorant mixed with the wetness of perspiration after awhile gets to reeking. It starts to smell like a faint fart or the sickening sweet smell of unwashed skin. NO JOKING!
So stick with unscented. Seriously I am not lying.

I started using Dove because when I looked at the active ingredients, all of the name brands had the same stuff in them, but Dove had the highest percentage of the ones I looked at. I didn't compare to Secret though, because I am allergic to that brand. As far as scent goes, I don't like any of the Dove scents I have bought, but I keep buying it anyway because it works.

I just browsed drugstore.com a bit, and Secret Platinum and Mitchum both have higher percentages of antiperspirant. However, I am sensitive to both. You might give one of them a try though.

I switched from Secret also. I also think you have to change every once in awhile because they stop working for you eventually.
I knew that Aluminum Chlorohydrate is the ingredient that keeps you dry, so I put a lot of time in reading deoderant labels! Tussy has 20% and is one of the least expensive. Arrid Extra Dry has 24.6%, so I use that now.

I like to use Dove...the invisible solid with the silk proteins or something like that in it.
Believe me, I even stay fairly dry and smelling pretty good even after a work out! Oh yeah, and it makes your pits really soft too, and when I shave I don't get as many cuts too. It's a little more expensive, but it is totally worth it.

I found that after a while, if you use the same brand it stops working. You should switch every so often. Arm & Hammer works pretty good, as does Degree. Suauve and Lady Speed Stick is good, too.

Lady Speed Stick and Degree work pretty well, and they also smell nice if you get a good fragance, I also have sensitive skin and I love Secret soft powder with olay too!
Good Luck!

Out of those 3 i might want to bypass with Dove. secret smells truly sturdy besides the undeniable fact that it truly is not sturdy for sweating or itch, so it truly is surely unnecessary. degree is great for no white marks on clothing yet back, isn't great for sweating. And Dove is great for no white marks, helps with itch and sweating, and on authentic of that keeps the exterior tender.
