Stephen, I have also been looking for Kohler's. We spent several enjoyable vacations there when I was young, lo these many moons ago. I've spotted its location on Google Maps, on Yellowsands Drive. But it looks as though it was probably redeveloped into private residences (just a guess on my part). At any rate, I don't see any resorts on the list from the other post that has that road in the address. I'm afraid we may both be out of luck.

Kohlers was sold off as individual cottages about 28 years ago (1990ish). My family went there most every year in the 1970s and 1980s. My father purchased one cabin from Leo (the owner) in the late 1980s and when he passed away we (my brother and sister and I) inherited the cabin. The main Kohlers Lodge is now a single family residence. The heated pool is still functioning (with some major repairs over the years!) Still a great place to visit, but I miss the old style charm of the original resort!
