when you ask a question like this you need to be a little more in depth with info first how old are you ?then do you have other children? was there ever any std? in either you or your partner? theres a birth control issue if you were on any it takes your body time to get back to normal the dr say theres not a problem until you have had unprotected sex for up to 1 year then they will check you out hope this helps.oh and yes there could be a chance your pregnant but you will have to wait for two weeks to see if your period comes good luck it will happen.

1. have you spoken with a ob/gyn about your endeavors? they should be able to help you more. I know there are other ways of predicting your ovulation such as body temp at diff times of the month. They will be able to help you with that, as well as some of the other things that you can do pre-pregnancy(like taking folic acid, losing weight, etc) to help in making your pregnancy and baby's development more likely to go smoothly.
3. www.webmd.com has a whole section about conceiving, one thing they talk about is having sex only every other day around your ovulation so that his sperm will have time to regenerate in between. Check out the site for more good medical advice.
2. are you sure that you don't need more time to get to know each other, save money, and all that stuff before you try for children? You say you are not married, and you should make sure you take enough time to get to know, and enjoy each other before bringing another someone into the equation.
Good luck.

It is sometimes hard to tell with the chart. I would recomend that your buy the ovulating kits. If you have the money, you may also purchase a clear blue ovulation monitor. I have read that it works really good. It measure your LH levels and you will be suprised to find out that not everyone ovulates on the 12 or 13 day.

If Sept 6 is the ovulation date, have sex on 5th, 6th and 7th. Don;t have sex so far away from the date. Sperm cannot survive for so long.

Also, 1 week before your ovluation, do not engage in any sex with your fiance. Have to conserve the sperm.

Good luck.

based on your info, you have a good chance to become pregnant because sperms can last from 2-3 days inside, right in time to meet the released egg. my husband and i are in the same situation, in case your interested to know. were married on may 1 this year and still trying until i read this article by ms. heidi (whattoexpect.com). i realized that my mind is very much pre-occupied by the thought of becoming pregnant to the point of adding stress to my life thereby decreasing my chances of conceiving. there is substance and science behind it you know. studies show. since both of us are members of the work force, (whew!) we even made a time table for love making (7pm, 8pm, 4am... etc.!)!!! It has become too much like hard work...and you live in dread of your period arriving....AGAIN! this is not helping me anymore, i thought, so i stopped. this might be happening to you too. why not concentrate on preparing your body for the baby. its the wisest thing to do than lingering on the thought of not getting pregnant. keep yourself fit. its not only you who should take all those vitamins (and folic!) but your partner as well. so now you have another reason to enjoy together. Relax and have fun! (What can be more fun than having sex!)

Take control, continue charting coz its still important. Improve your diet and get your partner involved. and most importantly, practice patience.

Hope i was able to help you. Goodluck to us!

Maybe the charting is causing you to be stressed sometimes if you just forget about it you end up pregnant. It took me 3 years with my first and 1 week with my second. Just relax 6 months is not that long.

Sometimes it takes a while to get pregnant. The first time my husband and I got pregnant the first month we tried. Now we have been trying since January and still nothing. It all depends on the timing. They say that if you still aren't pregnant within a year, you should see a doctor. Just have fun trying!

There is a chance you could get pregnant this month. 6 months isnt all that long of a time. Most Drs wont diagnose you as having infertility until after a year of trying.

My hubby replaced into the very similar way, yet I basically had to placed aside my delight of "begging" and make the first bypass. He stopped asking, because i replaced into aways uncomfortable, so i had to initiate beginning which made me know how he might want to experience after I wasn't pregnant and actually did no longer have a sturdy excuse to decline, besides i wasn't contained in the mood. I guess, that in case you basically do something straightforward like make out he can't push you away, he will understand you're contained in the "sexmester" as my hubby referred to as it and luxuriate in it even as it lasts. it is all there is to it i guess, do not enable your self hassle too a lot, basically ask for what you want from him. sturdy success.
