Yes it could be the first signs of strep throat.My son just got out of the er with the same rotten egg breath. It could also be an upset stomach.

What did he eat? Does he brush?

A couple things you can do for chronic bad breath: Always floss. It is a pain, but it makes a huge difference. And use a tongue scraper every day. This gets the bacteria off your tongue. You will truly be amazed by the difference that alone will make.

And obviously, I hope he's brushing his teeth at the very least 2 times a day.

tht is GROSS! He probably is in great need of some probiotics, does he take medicine on a regular basis? If so, its possible the meds have hurt his gut.

he could have an upper gi problem or it could be as semple as he just has gas from what ever he ate to fix this you could drink some baking soda and water

sounds like this person has a sour stomach give him some tums or rolaids it will get rid of it
