after reading the featured question i have been wondering about that myself. however the featured quesiton asker didnt state which type of keyboard like i am in my question.
so how do you clean it? I dont think the keys on a desktop keyboard can come off.

if you spill something on it you have three choices
1) take the keayboard apart and clean it that way
2) take a small screwdriver and carefully pop the keys off one at a time
or
3) buy a new keyboard
if its just the dust your worried about then you can buy canned air

I flip mine over onto the keys and tap mine on the desk, then I make sure my computer is turned off and take a wet rag and wipe the keys off. Or you can get the compressed air in a can, that works too.

Yes the keys on most of the keyboard can come off. Allowing you to wash them under water. However, becareful when pulling out the keys not to break them.

its easy!!! take a ear wig dip the one side in a cleaning solution mixed with lots of water. Wipe the key board. Then dip the other side in plain water and wipe it again. Make sure the power of computer is switched of beacuse you dont want to end up with an 180 degree screen. thats it.

Check my answer to the first question. Compressed air if dry, Lightly moistened Q-tip if not. Do when copmputer is shut off. Do not spray with Windex - the ammonia can wreck the keyboard.

Well if you have a KB map Ie. a diagram on how the keys are set on it, Pull off all the keys and it's easy to clean.

They make mini vacs for key boards but I use compressed air in a can sold at office max and walmart ect.

they have this stuff called can of air you can buy it at staples or other office supplie stores you can also use a damp rag to clean the top of the keys.

compressed air, u can find it at most retail stores, like kmart, target, walmart, best buy or compter stores. and if u turn them upside down and spray them, they cover things with ice, but dont put it on ur skin!!
