It will work for most games. However some of the newer games require a better card to play correctly.

It will work good. I believe its 64bit memory so it may give you alittle lag here and there. I have a MSI GeForce 6200 TC and a eVGA Geforce 6200 (PCI Xpress but not AGP).
Works for most games but some will run kinda not so well... Lower the resolution for it to be playable.

It will work but depending on the game requirements it may not look really detailed... I'd say use it still.

Its all determined on what you can afford and how much gaming you really want to do. If you have the money move up to a 6600 or better and 128bit and not worry about upgrading later. Or stick with what you can afford and deal with it. Thats what Im doing. Next card is gona be a 6800version.

To better answer this question I would need to know what kind of video card is installed in your computer right now. If you are using built-in or on-board graphics, then yes it is almost certainly a good video card compared to what you are using now. A better upgrade IMHO would be a 6600 based card. For $28.00 more, you can get a card that, in the long run, will provide you with much better performance. EVGA is a good brand, IMHO, so you should have no issues with reliability, in any case.
I have provided below links to a place I have ordered hardware from in the past at reasonable prices. They do not offer the EVGA brand, but they do offer simillar cards based on the same GPUs.
I have also provided a link to a reputable site that evaluates many different kinds of hardware and posts what I believe to be reliable, unbiased opinions on them. The 6600 card scored more than twice as high as the 6200 card in the tests they use to evaluate all the cards scored there.
I am not a paid agent of any of the links I have provided, nor do I recieve any compensation from any site or manufacturer in any way, shape or form for any reason.

yes and no...
first, it depends on what level of gaming and what you like.
If you want to play Delta Force black hawk down...which is a fav of mine. then yes. It will smoke that game and play great. If you want to play battlefield 2 then no. It will play but you will get frustrated with the poor graphics and frames per sec. I suggest an XFX 6800 XT from NEW EGG or you can google this card and find the best price..around 135 - 180 dollars. Its a great card for the money and since you have AGP mother board, you cant get much beter than this card. MAKE SURE ITS AGP!!! It has better RAM as well since yours is ddr and the 6800 XT is DDR3!

check the prices, dude. you can buy a 6600GT CHEAP now. the prices are so close on those older cards that you can easily step it up a notch without spending much more money at all. if you can get a 6600GT for ~$20-30 more, do it.

and there is a lot more to video cards than the amount of memory! a whole lot! GPU speed, memory speed, memory interface, pixel pipelines just to name a few. 6600 is a solid card for the money.

(this is all assuming that you are thinking about buying a 6200. if you already have one installed on your machine, it's a whole different story.)

Its not bad, but not great either. They've been around for a while now and are pretty much out of date. It'll be fine for older games, but newer games will require you to turn down the graphics options. Of course, if you're not the pixel crack type, that wont matter too much.

that card will allow you to run at minimum specs for todays games, agp is a dead technology, pci-express is the only card i would recommend, im an avid gamer and that 6200 wouldnt run any of my games
