I own a 99 GMC Suburban were is the flasher unit (blinker)?

I believe it is in the box on drivers side in front of drivers left foot.It is silver in color and round like the size of a 50 cent piece

Do you have the paper back book in the glove box that has everything you need to know about your truck? both flashers are probably located on the fuse panel one on each side turn on the emergency flashers feel it click now you are looking for a part that looks almost like the 4 way flasher or go buy a flasher for that truck and look around the fuse panel. Replace and retest.
