The only one I can think of is NIN, as in Anais Nin, the famed erotica author, because if you're looking for a name that can be flipped *upside down* and then spelled the same way, then you're limited to letters that look the same upside down as they do right-side up--namely, H, I, N, O, S, X and Z--and palindromic names.

It's called an Ambigram.
They were part of the plot in Dan Browns Angels and Demons
I can't put an example here because the keyboard won't do it.
It's not the letters themselves but in how they're written

Few letters look the same in such manner. They are H, I, N, O and S...but one could put M and W in a word. MOW, NIN, NON, SIS and the Greek name SINIS. He was a robber Theseus faced in Greek myths.

i'm not sure you're looking for the name of a person, or that i understand you correctly, but you may be thinking of the word, "anagram".

BECK....(did you mean backward?)
if you make this name trip over itself and fall forward, then it still spells "beck"...in capital letters.
