He was awesome...he was on every Sunday night when I was little....talking about how cartoons were made, about animation, about fantasy. If he was alive today, Disney movies would be much tamer, much more innocent, and the quality of the animations would be many times better than it is now. Walt WAS the magic that drove the kingdom, and his unique touch can never be matched. It was a magical time that those of us who remember him will never forget and will always love. What other man has produced cartoon after cartoon that ADULTS love, even though they're rated G!? AND, non-animated movies that are 2 hours long...that tiny children can sit through??? Magic!

I'm with maynerdswife on this one.
The world would be a much better place. The man was a visionary. He believed in family and art making. He built an empire and entertained us. His work had a quality to it that still rings in our hearts today.

He'd probably be ashamed at the crappy sequals his company's made --- Take Fox and the Hound 2 for example.
But, at the same time, we might not have had Pirates of the Carribean.
