Soak the cotton shirt in cold water and if you have hydogen peroxide pour it over the stain and wash out other then that try good oxiclean and make a paste out of water and oxiclean and apply it to the shirt and let it stand for 1/2 hr then wash it out and you may need to rub vigorously at the stain but it should come out then wash and rinse......

First boil water. Drop in a lemon slice or two.
Add the soiled shirt. Let shirt boil in the water
for 5 minutes. Goodbye tomato sauce.

I had good luck with oxyclean. I made a paste of the powder with water and rubbed it into the stain and let it work for a while (like overnight!). It doesn't hurt the fabric, even if you let it dry. Sometimes it takes more than one application. Also add oxyclean to washer.

Oxyclean seems to take most any annoying stain out, even ones that have already been through the wash.

Spray and Wash works pretty well too.
