Up until now, I had NO cell phone, NO DVD player, NO TiVo, NO iPod, NO CD player...Am I truly old-fashioned and stupid?

BTW, last week, I FINALLY got a cell phone, and now my family is upset at me for doing so...

Of course not, I don't have any of the stuff you mentioned either...our house is over 60 years old, and the city is demanding that we have the wiring replaced and that we subscribe to our cable system at once so that when we sell it(yeah, RIGHT!), the house will sell for alm ost a million dollars...I told the city building inspector to...you know...

Besides, you DON'T need to bend to the powerful people and do what they say...if you don't want a DVD(or CD) player or cable or whatever, then be yourself...

You are NOT weird OR stupid OR old-fashioned...I'm proud of you...

Hey...

Enjoy your cell phone, but be VERY wary about cable(or Dish)...I don't have an iPod either, so don't worry about it...Maybe your car/truck has a CD player built in;that would count as having a CD player(?)...

Relax...you're OK w/ me about this electronic stuff...
