soon after the desk-top appears, a message appears in a touch mgr window that says; " an illegal op was performed and the app will be " shut-down " ( or something like that ). "details " say that file; DLL. ( #%&*) was not found. Each time it is a different DLL file that it can't find. Occaisionally it says that " windows "
has to be re-installed. now what? !!

You can reformat the harddrive and it will wipe it.Then just load windows 98 disc in cdrom. restart pc to load .Why the flash?I donnot know that one.

reinstalling will wipe ur hard drive
jsut boot ur computer using the 98 cd and it will format ur hard drive too so thts two things done in one shot
about the flash device
jsut insert it into any available usb port
the os should automatically load the drivers for the flash device as the flash device usually has drivers on it
and then find the flash device under ur my computer jsut as ur c: drive or e: drive ur cd rom device
