I have 8 total ear lobe piercings, a rook, and a tragus. Also a vertical clitoral hood.

They all hurt. I would say for certain that needle piercings heal better than gun piercings. So far, the rook has been the most painful. Looks great though. The tragus was no big deal, and has been no problem healing. I could sleep on that side within the week. The clitoral hood piercing is very strange. It really hurts when they actually pierce it, like a horrible pinch of fire, and then it never hurts again. By the time you get off the table, you're fine. and it's super easy to heal.

I had my eyebrow done, but it migrated and I took it out. It didn't hurt at all to get the piercing though.

i have five ear piercings in each ear, a nose ring, a navel ring, and a tongue ring. I had a lip and an eye-brow ring but I took them out. I would have to say that your tongue is a very uncomfortable piercing at first but if you follow the directions that the TRAINED PROFESSIONAL gives you on how to take care of it you'll have no problems. They are easy to handle with time. be gentle with it your first couple of months, from there it should be smooth sailing.

Yes I have my left nipple pierced (contrary to what anyone says it hurts like hell)
My nose pierced (just a cute small silver stud)
and my tragus & conch pierced - (these are the grissly, cartlidge parts in your ear that are not your lobe)..
and all the piercings hurt..anyone who said it doesn't is lying..but the pain would never stop me from getting it done again..

also please really think about your tongue carefully..it can lead to bad breath & damage your teeth..

I'm in the over 30 crowd and I've got my nipple, navel, and tongue pierced!! I say go for it if you want it. BTW I've had all my piercings for over 10 yrs now and I don't have to wear them all the time. I choose the time and place to accessorize and it works well for me. Good luck!

i might get my belly button pierced

i wouldnt recommend getting your tongue pierced though a lot of people seem to regret it or it gets infected easily, but whatever you feel is right for you :)

read some of the things people say about it, good and bad
