6 months ago, when I lost the keys to our rental apartment that was vacant - and it remained vacant for 4 months because I could not find the keys. Never found them and had to change the locks, so I cleaned that stupid drawer for nothing.

WHEN I MOVED TO WHERE I LIVE NOW, I ALLOWED MYSELF ONE JUNK DRAWER, AND MY HUSBAND ONE. WELL IT IS 2 YEARS LATER AND NOW I STILL HAVE ONE JUNK DRAWER, BUT MY HUSBAND HAS 4 OF THEM. I CLEAN MINE OUT ABOUT EVERY 2 MONTHS, BUT MY HUSBAND NEVER DOES.

I don't know? It needs cleaning now! I can hardly open it yet I keep stuffing things in it. Every time I clean it, I swear I'll I won't let it get that dirty again, yeah right!

I do this once a year when it gets too full to close properly. It usually takes a couple of hours, and I feel very virtuous about it afterwards.
