That was not the only book with that information. Try reading the other gospels that aren't in the bible. Seems that there's a lot of information out there that the vadican doesn't like.

You also might want to take a look at this information regarding the topic of the bloodline of Jesus.

No, I don't believe such a thing. Some Frenchman seems to have concocted this tale in the 1950's. Supposedly, Jesus' descendants became kings of France in the Merovingian Dynasty. Naturally, the man who invented this crap was an heir to the throne, he said. He made a list of men who kept this secret. Leonardo da Vinci was included. Someone wrote a book about such stuff earlier. Dan Brown should be sued for copying the other book too closely.

Dan Brown got his inspiration for that from other works that were printed previously.
There are a lot of definitive "No's" above.
I think they have about as much value as a definitive "yes"
Most people are making a faith based answer either way.
Personally I think it to be about 90% no, because there is no surviving evidence (in writing).
But logic and obscure writings can make a case for Jesus and Mary M hooking up.
A lot of people like to brush aside logic when it comes to matters of faith. I think the intelligent person should consider all sides.

Man this book is getting boring. It isn't even well written.

You should read The Last Temptation of Chirst by Nikos Katzanzakas. Same subject, same controvesy, much deeper book.

It's terrible when a badly written best seller upstages a fine novel.

Well as you asked if I believed that they had a daughter in the novel, then yes I do...In the Novel! I have no idea what happened in real life.

I dont believe in god..and I find it impossible to believe Jesus was resurrected. He either died or he didnt.

A Christian would answer 'no', and a neutral would answer 'maybe'.
As for the Da Vinci Code itself, its fiction.

I think that God came to earth in the flesh so that God could understand being human again. What more than having a teenaged daughter would not make God understand being human more?
