I used to get those all the time. This is the best site to check out for stuff like that. When people forward that on and snopes says it is false I usually will reply to everyone, tell them it is not true and give them the link. I hope by doing this it will squash some of the Internet "rumors".

NOOOOO! Have you ever heard the old addage "If it's sounds too good to be true, then more than likely it is not true." Now take the web for example and add an EXPONENT of (5). If they have a legitimate contact 800 number on a legitimate site with the MICROSOFT Seal, or you can look them up in the city they are in by contacting the BBB or consumer affairs in that city, then they may be legit. But more than likely they are a sham coming off the coast of some island like Madagascar, and the US officials cannot do anything about them.

that's a phishing scam. they're attempting to get your information for attainable id robbery. I even are starting to be those before. in case you've been to put up your information, they could next ask on your monetary employer account information. you may take a wild wager as to what they could do in case you've been to provide them this counsel.

SCAM....surprised that aren't claiming to give a $1.00. This simply gives some other company your e-mail address.
