A German told me that men find women who are BOTH beautiful AND intelligent scary, but not women who are either beautiful or intelligent. Is it true? So I'd like to ask guys what type of women you're afraid of, and ladies, what type of guys you're afraid of. And why? Thanks for sharing.

This applies to both sexes, not because I swing both ways, but because I think that the qualities that make a bad PERSON are the same, irrespective of gender:
Those people who are quick to judge. Who think they can look at a person and KNOW they're bad. Who never bother to delve into the reasoning behind a situation, but are enamored of their own snap judgements.
Those people who have no tolerance for the opinions of others. It doesn't matter if they almost agree with them, or their opinion is 180 degrees around the pike..."those people are *sses because they don't agree with me"
Those people who refuse to believe that a different upbringing than their own can lead to different values. They are not WRONG values, they are just different.
Those people who, to your face, commiserate with you and want to tell you how sorry they are that something bad has happened, but laugh at the whole thing behind your backs. These people are emotional ghouls...parasites.
All those people who are so selfish that they really only think about where their next toke is coming from, or how they're going to pay for their next drink. And even what they have to do to get their next Armani suit. It is all materialism, and selfishness, and the world is in a really nasty place right now because of it.
We don't look out for our neighbour anymore. We don't guide and teach and correct our newest generations to have a high sense of morals anymore. We don't come together as communities and clean up what is going wrong, because it's easier just to ignore it.
APATHY, SELFISHNESS, MATERIALISM...our new golden rules!

Well, in guys I'm not afraid of anything in particular. Guys don't seem to judge you too bad, and seem alright. Actually it's kind of once I get to know a guy the become "scary."
Girls on the other hand can be so cruel (not that guys can't). But they seem to have this need for drama and for being better than every other girl out there. I suppose it's the confident ones that are intimidating to me.

Not much scares me from the opposite sex anymore. I have dated all types of men from pretty boys to bikers... there are things about them all that bothered me. vain men, cocky men, angry men, men who procrastination. I learned that you do have to explore people who you don't think would be your match, it's amazing the stuff you will learn. All the men I thought would be nice were not, all the men I thought would end-up wife beaters where really nice guys.

I think really fat people are greedy and therefore dangerous because they tend to run our societies. I think that BOTH beautiful AND intelligent is a challenge. Such people are fun to be with and the counterpoint is productive.

The guys that I avoid are the controlling,obsessive guys for dangerous/They are the ones who kill when rejected. or just think they've been rejected. Also guys(and women ) who are psychotic-dangerous and many are the serial killers one reads about.

I FIND THAT MEN ARE INITIMIDATED BY WOMEN WHO ARE SMART , TALKATIVE , HARD OWRKING, GOOD LOOKING, EMOTIONAL, ETC. MEN NEED TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE WOMEN OUT THERE THAT WILL KNOW WHO WON THE FIRST SUPER BOWL AND WHO CAN FRAME A HOUSE BETTER THAN THEM AND LOOK GOOD DOING IT!
