Real rock is about screaming GUITAR solos, not whiny screaming an inch away from the mic.

Whoever said Lacey Mosley could sing is on crack.

Because that's what's popular.

Remember when Nirvana hit it big (maybe you don't - YOUNG?)? After Nirvana, everybody wore flannel and stood on stage looking down at their Doc Martens. Then, when Korn started getting popular, people started wearing dredlocks, playing 5 string basses and 7 string guitars, and screaming about how crappy their childhood was.

Everything comes full circle...guitar solos are coming back - Look at bands like In Flames or Dragon Force - it's not music I listen to, but bands like them are putting the guitar solo back into rock music.

FINALLY someone said it!

Anyway...

Screaming into the mic is good... in moderation. DREAM ON, DREAM ON, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHH is good. An entire song like that... not so.

I like Steven Tyler, Roger Water, and David Gilmour screams the best. Yay Brits! (Err... Aerosmith IS British, right?)

definite. devoid of the autumn, there could be no loose will. what's the part of starting to be a universe the place all and sundry is for particular to the two love or hate you without ability to choose for for themselves? All you get in that scheme are angels and demons, that are uninteresting, and which God already had besides.

When there's no skill or talent it has to be compensated with volume, attitude, and incomprehension. There is an audience for music like that....people with attitude, no skills or talents, and little comprehension. They tend to be loud as well.

I think they are trying to copy successful bands. If nobody buys their CDs or goes to their concerts, they would have to disband or play and sing normally.

I know I'm an old guy, but could it be they have no talent and are just trying to make up for it with volume?

Good music does not have to be loud. Bad music is played loudly so you HAVE to listen.
