what about it????
allegory is the ancient Greek pluperfect past subjuctive for alligator.....
There was an alligator in a cave..it became famous..
had top billing at the Oracle...an ancient Greek casino
one evening , it went a bit "blue" with its material...
lost its audience...

Many could be heard as they exited..

"ain't that a croc?"

"do you believe what you just saw and heard???"

"was he for real?"

"what a disgrace to his image"

"wait until next week, they're bringing in someone to juggle 7 spheres at the same time...really? He must have a universal appeal!!!"

"I believe I'll grab the next performer, just to make sure his act is legitimate"

Ta-Da....philosophy and theatre were started!!!!
