i know.im just curious why yahoo!, being great in ostly everything, decides to team with such crap

I was going to update my tool bar in the latest Windows Internet Explorer. Was shocked to see that Yahoo uses Nortons the very worse garbage in the world. I actually aborted the update, as there is no reason to have an antispyware in their toolbar.
Sent Yahoo a personal email about how they could actully be so dumb to use Nortons. (Ofcourse Yahoo failed to reply).
Nortons has a real history of leaving behind atleast 300 fragments when you remove the program. And it causes severe conflict with your files and system operation. They just hate for you to remove their antispyware, antivirus programs that never find anything. So they stick to your files and hide in your system when you remove the program.
With the right software tools you can get all the fragments out. The wasted man hours, you almost feel like there was a magic way to get rid of them once and for all.
Yahoo, could use www.superantispyware.com or www.lavasoft.com --programs that are free an excellent.
I wonder what was the motive behind yahoo going with Nortons.

Yahoo's just using it bcoz they get money from norton on advertising their product. Its only a trial version and Norton doesn't lose anything,but gains a bit of publicity and popularity.So they pay yahoo. Just uninstall the thing if u don't want it. I didn't even try 2 install the crap.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
