IT by far. IT just gave me everything I wanted--humor, fear, sadness, gruesomeness, vulgarity, and so much more. It fed me what I wanted, and I always wanted more...IT just blew my mind in terms of novels I'd read before.

ALSO, I like Needful Things. I liked how it was a play on small towns...and, oh, shoot, I forget what King said about that book...oh well. I just love it.

Also, to the person who said something about the Dark Tower books--it's not a trilogy. There are seven books, and in order, they are: The Gunslinger, The Drawing Of The Three, The Wastelands, Wizard and Glass, Wolves of the Calla, Song of Susannah, and The Dark Tower.

I have read almost all of his books but I liked Rose Madder. I liked it because it was more real than some of his books. I actually passed very close to Stephen one day. We went to Bangor Maine and we drove by his house and were taking pictures of it. He came out and got into his SUV. I was standing right by his driveway and he drove out and stopped before he turned onto the street and I was within 5 feet of him. I have some pictures of his house on my 360. It is a big reddish orange house with a wrought iron fence all around and gargoyles on the fence. It is on my Maine trip.

His early novels are terrific. additionally enjoyed the fairway Mile. I even have study a number of the memories in Nightmares and Dreamscapes and that i do no longer think of they are his terrific artwork. they don't seem to be as sturdy as night Shift or each thing's Eventual.

The Green Mile. It kept me on the edge of my seat. It had so much more than the movie did(which itself was excellent). I think the character John Coffy was a Christ-like symbol(JC). It just was an all around book. Especially when Percy got what was coming to him.

The Dark Tower Saga. Best story I have read in my life. Sure the books are weird, but man does he know how to create and jump entire worlds. 7 books might sound like a lot but you won't be dissapointed in the end. Long days and pleasant nights.

Rose Madder, because this story is very fantasy..yet real life, and the way things are explained you almost feel like you are there, seeing it firsthand..love that book, another is Bag of Bones, that one is a very well laid story, with a lot of good characters, and the story is very chilling.
