It depends, during traditional masterbation the answer is generally no. However, if you are using toys, someone else's fingers or other objects (This applys to both men and women) it is possible that the object you are using can carry some nasty germs that can possibly be transmitted through a masterbation session.
If using a toy:
Just make sure that everything is clean and if you are concerned about it, slip a condom on. If you are a guy, slip it on you, if you are a girl, slip it on the toy and you should not have any more problems. Also, try not to share toys... could lead to more problems.

Not if you clean up properly after wards. If there is uncleanliness then of course the risk for yeast infection, or reaction to whatever implements you might use will increase.

No. Masturbation is the safest sex you can have. So enjoy. If you masturbate to hard or to often your penis may become irritated or chaped but no infection.

perhaps you can get a sore hand and arm from overusing it in the engagement of self-stimulation. other infections or diseases----forget them!
